Visited 100 Acre Wood Preserve yesterday. This preserve is part of the effort to build a chain of parks and trails along Cypress Creek from Hwy 290 to the east of I-45 where Cypress Creek joins Spring Creek. It was a HOT day but was bearable in the wooded area of the preserve. I was with a group from the Northwest Houston Camera Club, it's always nice to be with a group like this where we can compare ideas and give encouragement.

Cricket
A couple weeks ago I shot some pictures at a local Cricket match (Tournament?). They have a meet at Matzke Park (Grant Road at Jones Rd). It's taken me a while to sort and post process (if any) to get to this point. Did I understand all about Cricket? NO! I reviewed the rules and concepts on YouTube before I went, so I had a basic understanding, good thing I did, too. It was interesting and fun, and I will go back. For more information and schedule visit their website at http://www.houstoncricket.org.
